Raw creativity. Inspiration. Hand made and guided by the creative soul within. That’s why I love Indie designers. If you aren’t familiar with the jewelry brand, WARE from London, then make yourself acquainted! The designer, Emma Ware incorporates soft rubber and chain in her pieces, which are all made by hand. I can only image the beauty of the movement these pieces would create. And the subtle colors are amazing! Love it!

I’m always drawn to jewelry with an organic aesthetic…and you can’t get more organic than jewelry cast directly from a real pigeon. Tessa Metcalfe Jewellery (of the UK) puts her taxidermy background into her jewelry designs…creating creepy yet chic jewelry. Lol. I love these pigeon rings!

Thanks to Boticca for showing emerging designers!

Gosh…I love Boticca!

If you’re unfamiliar, Boticca is a site that highlights designs by indie designers…all accessories *swoon*. Everyone wants to express their individuality…and your personal style is definitely included. Boticca does a great job of sharing the stories of designers. When I know the designers story and inspiration, it makes me love their work that much more!! One designers highlighted this week is Niza Huang from London. I absolutely love texture and the feeling of “rawness” in execution …it fits with my personal design aesthetic…and Niza’s work was just my cup of tea! Here are a few of my favorite pieces…all from the Petroleum and Under Earth collections::
